Anti-inflammantory turmeric tea is the easiest solution when you're feeling a cold coming on or you need something extra to boost your immune system.
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- 1/2-1 tsp maple syrup - depending on your preferred sweetness
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
In a small pot, bring the water to a steam (not quite to a boil, the best temperature is 80°C). Add the spices, honey and lemon juice, and stir to combine. Remove the pot from heat, and cover with a lid. Allow the mixture to steam and combine for 7-10 minutes.
Drink once cooled. This tea will settle as you drink.
